Pet of the Week!

Meet Glen!

Meet Glen, a 3-year-old stunning black kitty who has lots of love to give! Glen is FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) positive, meaning he can live a completely normal life with this illness, but he cannot live with any other cats. He just wants some human friends who will pet and love him every day! Could that be you?

Adoption Procedures

Everything we do is for the best interests of our animals in our care. Our adoption process is aimed at matching you, your family and your current pets with our animals for adoption.

An adoption counselor, or trained and knowledgeable volunteer, will introduce you to our animals in a private meeting room. We will share information about the animal's history and needs, behavior assessment and any volunteer / staff comments.

When you find the right pet for you and your family, the adoption counselor will assist you in completing the proper paperwork. This process includes signing an adoption contract, reviewing medical history (provided by WPHS) and providing proper pet care information. This process takes approximately 30 minutes to complete.
